Happy Friday to you, again, my friend! I don’t know about you, but – in many ways – this week just seemed to fly by. But it was a VERY good one for which I’m most grateful. Any time that I get to spend with like-minded individuals is a time I’m very grateful for, and I’m so blessed that I’m getting more and more time to do so.

Have you ever tried acupuncture?

I never had until most recently. I am not a big fan of needles, so I have to say that I was really quite nervous the first time, especially since they were going into my EAR of all places! But, I went through with it, and I would be lying if I said it wasn’t a little uncomfortable – at least in a point or two, but that was because those points needed “clearing”. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, though, and I really do come out feeling as though a weight has been lifted from me.

If you’ve never tried it, and especially if you’re an empath, give it a go some time!

Me? I do plan to make it a weekly thing now.

So, it’s Friday, and you know what that means, right? It’s time for our weekly oracle draw!

This week I’m pulling cards from The Wisdom of Avalon deck from Colette Baron-Reid.

Just close your eyes, take a deep breath and get a sense of which card(s) corresponds to the message(s) intended for you. Then skip below to read the message(s).

Easy peasy!

Card #1:

The Eagle: spirit, integrity, connection to the angelic realm

When the Eagle appears, it is a true signal of your connection to the angelic realm. With the angels’ help and guidance, you can soar above life to see the larger vista. The Eagle helps you make your choices accordingly, with integrity. When you pray to your angels, they will always answer, for they patiently wait for you to call upon them for assistance. The angels reside beside you, always hoping to aid humankind in finding peace and manifesting abundance and prosperity.

The Eagle also asks you to remember to soar high above life and look at the big picture. Don’t get too caught up in the tiny, unimportant aspects of life. The spiritual world is the real one – your physical life is the dream.

When the Eagle appears, it’s also a signal for prayer. It’s time for a moment of conscious contact with the Divine. Remember that you’re always protected and Divinely directed if you follow the guidance of Spirit as it appears in the form of the Eagle.

Card #2:

What burdens are you carrying on this part of the journey? Are you transporting those of others out of generosity or codependency? Is this burden so heavy that it slows you down? This marker asks you to stop and look at your responsibilities, your commitments, and all that you bring with you on your journey.

Are you clinging to an unhealthy relationship out of fear? Are you taking on the burden of others to prevent them from getting hurt? Do you know that this enables others to avoid learning their life lessons and doesn’t really help at all?

Drawing this marker encourages you to release others to their own path. It may also be a time for you to ask if you’re helping because you like being needed. If the answer is yes, then the message is truly to let go of this burden, for it’s born of self-centeredness. Release the burden of others to the Divine. They also have their own angels and guides, just as you do. Trust in the Divine plan for all.

On the sacred path to Avalon, you must be aware that you pack all the essential wisdom tools you will need to chart your course. Integrity, kindness, compassion, discernment, discretion, faith, forgiveness, truth, and love are but some of them.

Once your tools are counted, see if the rest of what you’re hanging on to is appropriate. This is a time to leave behind any unnecessary burdens and to know you have the strength to carry what is yours.

Card #3:

The Serpent: knowledge, healing

The Serpent’s message is one of healing and of gaining knowledge. Whatever situation you’re in right now is meant for this purpose. The Serpent also reminds you that knowledge is important.

Perhaps it’s time for you to read a book or take a class in order to gain more understanding of your inquiry, or you may need to ask questions of others who “know” and can help you. Ask the Serpent and you will be guided to the right answer easily and effortlessly. The Serpent heralds success if you follow his signal.

The Serpent also lets you know that you may be suffering because there are aspects of yourself that are wounded and still need tending. Now is the time for this. Perhaps you need to rest, meditate, and allow the knowledge to come to consciousness. Or maybe you just need to sleep more.

Another aspect of Serpent energy is that each time you experience a healing or learn new things, you may need to shed your skin to adopt a new one. But don’t worry – the Serpent says that it’s a necessary and beautiful thing.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend, and may the new week shine brightly upon you and yours!
